Draft privacy policy. Before launch, the text must be adapted to the services actually used and legally reviewed. The German version is authoritative.

What data we process

  • Enquiries: When you fill in a form, we process the data provided (name, email address, message) in order to answer your enquiry. The information is sent to us by email via our hosting provider Cloudflare.
  • Bookings: Bookings are made via the external booking page of each apartment (Lodgify). The provider’s privacy policy also applies to the data entered there. To handle a stay, we process address and billing data as well as the information required for the tourist tax.
  • Server log files: When the website is accessed, technical data such as IP address, time and the page requested are logged.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. It sets cookies and transmits information about your use of the website (e.g. pages viewed, device, approximate location) to Google; a transfer to the USA is possible. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of the website.

Weather data

The weather display on the home page is requested directly from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) when the page loads; your IP address is transmitted to the provider in the process.

Fonts

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to the provider. If required, the fonts can be served locally to avoid this transfer.

Disclosure to third parties

Data is only disclosed where this is necessary to provide the service (e.g. cleaning partners, payment service providers, booking platforms) or where we are legally obliged to do so.

Retention

We only retain data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or required by statutory retention periods.

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to data portability. Please contact the address given above.
